Mark Zimmer is a partner in the Munich office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.

As a certified lawyer for labor law, Mr. Zimmer advises companies on all employment-related matters. He represents his clients in particular in connection with reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, as well as the hiring and separation of executives.

A special focus of his practice is compliance, especially the detection of and reaction to fraud, corruption and similar violations. Mr. Zimmer has developed particular expertise in conducting complex internal investigations for multi-national companies. Especially noteworthy is his key function during the Siemens Compliance Monitorship.

Mr. Zimmer regularly publishes on labor law and compliance related matters. In addition to numerous lectures, he has distinguished himself through two teaching assignments at the University of the German Armed Forces in Munich and the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences.

Besides his native German, he is fluent in English and also speaks French and some Arabic.
