Marina Szteinbok

Counsel & Director, Knowledge Management - Transactional

Marina Szteinbok is Counsel and Director, Knowledge Management – Transactional, based in the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.  She oversees the Firm’s corporate knowledge strategy initiatives, including leading the development of knowledge-sharing platforms, collaboration tools, model corporate documentation, and client-facing knowledge resources, identifying opportunities for practice innovation, providing recommendations on process improvements to enhance efficiencies, and guiding the evaluation and adoption of legal technologies.  Ms. Szteinbok is also responsible for curriculum development and content for the U.S. corporate associate training program.  Previously, she practiced in the New York, Paris, and Helsinki offices of White and Case and was Counsel at Sidley.

Ms. Szteinbok earned her D.E.A. (Diplôme d’Études Approfondies) with high honors from the University of Paris I (Panthéon-Sorbonne), her Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar for three years and an editor of the Columbia Law Review, and her Bachelor of Arts degree magna cum laude in Literature from Yale University.  Ms. Szteinbok is admitted to practice law in New York.  She is bilingual in Spanish and fluent in French.
