BIOGRAPHY

Arthur Swanson is Of Counsel in the Dallas office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.  He is a member of the firm’s Litigation and Mergers and Acquisitions practice groups.

Mr. Swanson joins the firm from Keurig Dr Pepper, Inc., where he was Vice President and Assistant General Counsel and led the company’s Litigation and Commercial practice areas.  Mr. Swanson has extensive experience in a variety of corporate and commercial matters, from mergers and acquisitions, marketing and advertising, sales and distribution, procurement and supply chain.  His litigation experience is wide ranging, with a particular focus on consumer products labeling and advertising class actions.  He also has led all Intellectual Property and R&D/Regulatory legal matters along with Sustainability, Enterprise Risk and Compliance functions for Keurig Dr Pepper’s predecessor company, Dr Pepper Snapple Group.

Mr. Swanson graduated from Duke University School of Law, cum laude, and University of Washington with a degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance.  Mr. Swanson was previously with Sidley Austin LLP and Baker Botts LLP, and prior to law school was a surety bond underwriter with Reliance Surety Company in Seattle, Washington.

Mr. Swanson is admitted to practice in the State of Texas.
