Becca Smith is an associate in the San Francisco office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. She practices in the firm’s Litigation Department.

Becca maintains an active practice focused on complex healthcare, administrative law, class action, and other federal program-related matters. Prior to joining Gibson Dunn, she worked as an associate at a law firm based in Washington D.C. where she represented state agencies in U.S. District Court, U.S. Circuit Court, and federal agency administrative appeals, where she participated in a state administrative trial. She has also developed an active Pro Bono practice, representing individuals in immigration-related proceedings and advocating for the protection of animals.

She received her J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School.  During law school, she served as a law clerk to the White House Council on Environmental Quality. Becca earned her  B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations with honors from Cornell University.

Becca is admitted to practice in California and the District of Columbia, as well as before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.
