BIOGRAPHY

Kristen P. Poole is a corporate partner in the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, where her practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and private equity.

Ms. Poole represents both public and private companies, as well as financial sponsors, in connection with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, minority investments, restructurings and other complex corporate transactions.  She also advises clients with respect to general corporate governance matters and shareholder activism matters.

Ms. Poole received her Juris Doctor in 2010 from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she was an Articles Editor for the Virginia Journal of International Law.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, in Business Finance from Virginia Tech in 2006.

Ms. Poole is admitted to practice in the State of New York.
