Kate Oh

Associate Attorney

Kate (Shinhae) Oh is an associate in the Orange County office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. She currently practices in the firm’s Litigation Department.

Kate earned her law degree cum laude in 2022 from University of California, Irvine, School of Law, where she received the Faculty Award for the highest grade in Lawyering Skills, Advanced Legal Research, International Anti-Corruption Seminar, International Justice Clinic, and the Dean’s Award for the second-highest grade in Evidence. While in law school, she served as a judicial extern to Justice Raymond J. Ikola of California Court of Appeal, Fourth District, Division Three, and was an associate editor in UC Irvine Law Review and UC Irvine Journal of International, Transnational, and Comparative Law.

Prior to attending law school, she worked as a reporter at a national daily newspaper in South Korea, where she covered South Korea and U.S. politics, among others. Kate earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Diplomacy from Yonsei University, South Korea, in 2014.

Kate is admitted to practice in the State of California.
