Hannah Lewis is an English-qualified associate in the London office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. She is a member of the firm’s International Arbitration, Litigation and Judgement and Arbitral Award Enforcement Groups.

Ms. Lewis has broad experience of international arbitration and commercial litigation, with a particular focus on commercial arbitration. Recent commercial arbitration experience includes:

Oil & Gas:

• Acting for a major oil company in proceedings brought by a Middle Eastern state relating to the operatorship and maintenance of an offshore oil and gas project under the UNCITRAL rules.
• Acting in a shareholder dispute seated in London relating to an oil and gas joint venture in the Middle East under the LCIA rules.

Infrastructure:

• Acting for a major international engineering company in a multi-billion dollar ICC arbitration arising out of a Middle Eastern airport project.

Ms. Lewis also has an active pro bono practice with a particular interest in matters relating to prisoners’ rights and criminal justice reform. Further, Ms. Lewis has represented a number of clients to successfully obtain Non-Molestation Orders from the Family Courts under the firm’s pro bono iniative DARA (the Domestic Abuse Response Alliance).

Ms. Lewis trained at Gibson Dunn and holds a First Class History degree from the University of Bristol.
