Paul Michael Jindra is of counsel in the New York office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. He is a member of the Firm’s Securities Regulation and Corporate Governance Group, focusing on SEC disclosure and regulatory matters, corporate governance issues and practices, and environmental, social and governance matters.
Paul regularly counsels clients on a wide array of public company matters, including SEC disclosure and financial reporting practices, public-to-private company transitions, board oversight and governance matters, governing documents for public companies, boards and board committees, and compliance with corporate governance standards under corporate and securities laws and stock exchange listing rules. Additionally, he has extensive experience advising issuers, underwriters and private equity sponsors on all aspects of initial public offerings and other capital raising transactions.
Prior to joining Gibson Dunn, Paul served as an associate in the capital markets groups at Sidley Austin LLP and, most recently, Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP. He has also served as an assistant general counsel in the office of the corporate secretary at JPMorgan Chase & Co., focusing on a broad range of complex regulatory and governance issues and emerging legal risks.
Paul earned his Juris Doctor in 2013 from Columbia Law School, where he was named a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and served as an Articles Editor of the Columbia Journal of Transnational Law. While at Columbia, he was awarded the Shearman & Sterling Student Writing Prize in Comparative and International Law and received Special Honors for Outstanding Performance in Regulation of Financial Institutions. Paul graduated magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Economics.
He is admitted to practice in the State of New York.
