Oscar Hwang is Registered Foreign Lawyer (Texas) and a corporate associate in the Hong Kong office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. He is a member of the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity Practice Groups.
Oscar’s practice focuses on general corporate, cross-border mergers & acquisitions and other private equity investments. He has acted for global investment and asset management clients such as KKR, BlackRock, EQT, Stonepeak and DigitalBridge.
Prior to joining Gibson Dunn, Oscar was an associate in the Houston office of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett.
Oscar received his Juris Doctor from Duke University School of Law in 2019 and his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Northwestern University. He is admitted to practice in Texas and is a Registered Foreign Lawyer (Texas) in Hong Kong. Oscar is fluent in English and Korean.
