Kathryn P. Harris is an associate in Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher’s Washington, D.C. office. She is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department.
Ms. Harris joined Gibson Dunn after serving as a law clerk to the Honorable Eric L. Clay, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the Honorable Algenon L. Marbley, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
Ms. Harris earned her law degree from Stanford Law School in 2018, where she was a member editor of the Stanford Journal of Complex Litigation and worked on dispositive motions briefing with the Religious Liberty Clinic. She also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable James S. Gwin, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. Before attending law school, Ms. Harris earned a degree in History from the George Washington University, where she graduated summa cum laude, with departmental honors, and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.
Ms. Harris previously was an associate at an international law firm, where she represented clients in complex investigations, data privacy, and gaming compliance matters.
Ms. Harris is admitted to practice law in Ohio and the District of Columbia. She is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
