Alissa Fromkin Freltz

Associate Attorney

Alissa Fromkin Freltz is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher and is a member of the firm’s Tax Practice Group.

Prior to joining Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, Alissa was a tax associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore in New York. Alissa’s practice focuses on the federal tax aspects of transactional tax matters. She has advised clients on public and private M&A, spin-offs, and joint ventures, as well as banking and capital markets transactions.

Alissa earned her Juris Doctor in 2020 from Yale Law School. She received a BA in Middle Eastern Studies from Boston University, where she was a goaltender on the Varsity Women’s Ice Hockey Team, and an MA in Middle Eastern Studies from the George Washington University.

Alissa is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and the State of New York.
