BIOGRAPHY

Mia C. Donnelly is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, where she practices in the firm’s Litigation Department, with a focus on environmental and mass tort litigation, regulatory enforcement, and compliance counseling. She has provided counseling and advice to clients on a wide range of environmental and regulatory topics, including Clean Air Act compliance, Clean Water Act compliance, comments on pending regulatory developments, and criminal liability for environmental violations. Ms. Donnelly also has experience practicing as part of the firm’s Labor & Employment Practice Group. She has represented clients in single plaintiff and class action litigation in a range of employment matters, including those involving non-competition agreements, trade secrets, wage and hour laws, and discrimination.

Ms. Donnelly previously served as a law clerk to the Honorable Royce C. Lamberth of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.

Ms. Donnelly graduated with highest honors from The George Washington University Law School and was awarded Order of the Coif.  She also received the John Ordronaux Award, given to the student with the highest cumulative GPA after the first year of study.  She served as a Managing Editor of the George Washington Law Review and a Writing Fellow in the GW Law Writing Center.  Ms. Donnelly received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from The Pennsylvania State University, where she graduated with high distinction.

Ms. Donnelly is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the District of Columbia.
