BIOGRAPHY

Zane Cark is a corporate associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.

Mr. Clark’s practice focuses on representing a wide range of sponsors of private investment funds in their efforts to organize, structure and operate those funds. Relevant strategies of the clients he serves include real estate, private equity, infrastructure and venture capital investments.  He also has experience advising public companies and their boards with respect to corporate governance, federal securities, insider trading, shareholder engagement, “environmental, social, and governance” (ESG) and executive compensation matters.

Mr. Clark received his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he served on the Managing Board of the Virginia Journal of Law and Technology and advised early-stage businesses as part of the Entrepreneurial Law Clinic.  He also co-founded and served as President of Virginia Law First Generation Professionals.  He graduated magna cum laude from the Honors College at Missouri State University where he was a Presidential Scholar and received the University’s highest student honor, the Citizen Scholar Award.

Mr. Clark is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia.
