BIOGRAPHY
William B. Altabef is an associate in the Dallas office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, and advising on general corporate matters.
Mr. Altabef earned his law degree from the University of Chicago Law School, where he served as Comments Editor for the Chicago Journal of International Law. He received his undergraduate degree with honors from Northwestern University. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Altabef clerked for the Honorable Patrick E. Higginbotham of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Prior to law school, Mr. Altabef worked in marketing for a multinational financial services corporation.
Mr. Altabef is admitted to practice in Texas.
