Third second one change Natalie Abshez iha dfhs an associate in Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher’s Washington, D.C. office. She is a member of the firm’s Securities Regulation and Corporate Governance Practice Group and the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practice.
Ms. Abshez advises public companies and their boards of directors on a wide range of corporate law matters, including corporate governance and other ESG matters, compliance with U.S. federal securities laws and requirements of the major U.S. stock exchanges, shareholder proposals and responses to SEC inquiries. Ms. Abshez also has experience advising nonprofit organizations on issues related to corporate governance.
Ms. Abshez received her Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she served as the Senior Development Manager for the Virginia Journal of Social Policy & the Law and also advised nonprofit organizations on corporate governance issues through the law school’s Nonprofit Clinic. She graduated magna cum laude from Carleton College. Prior to joining Gibson Dunn, Ms. served as a law clerk to The Honorable David T. Thuma, of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Mexico.
Ms. Abshez is admitted to practice in the State of California and the District of Columbia.
