Expert Guides Recognizes Three Gibson Dunn Partners

Euromoney’s Expert Guides has named three Gibson Dunn partners to its 2022 edition of the Best of the Best Guide, which recognizes the top 30 legal practitioners in the world across 15 areas of law. The Gibson Dunn partners included in the guide are Hong Kong partner Graham Winter for Gaming and Gambling, Houston partner Michael P. Darden for Energy and Natural Resources, and Singapore partner Brad Roach for Energy and Natural Resources. The guide was published on September 30, 2022.

Graham Winter is Co-Chair of the Betting and Gaming Practice Group. He has a leading Hong Kong practice specializing in complex corporate transactions, including cross-border M&A transactions, privatizations, capital markets transactions, joint ventures, private equity transactions and international corporate finance transactions. He has particular experience with transactions governed by the Hong Kong Takeovers Code and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange Listing Rules.

Michael Darden is Co-Chair of the Oil & Gas Practice Group. His practice focuses on international and U.S. oil and gas ventures (including LNG, deep-water and unconventional resource development projects), international and U.S. infrastructure projects, asset acquisitions and divestitures, and energy-based financings (including project financings, reserve-based loans and production payments).

Brad Roach is Co-Chair of the Oil & Gas Practice Group. He has more than 25 years’ experience advising clients in the energy, upstream oil and gas/LNG, infrastructure and project finance industry throughout Asia, the Middle East and North Africa. He is a strategic advisor who is recognized for his negotiation skills and a commercial and pragmatic approach to counselling clients on their investments in the oil and gas, LNG and power sectors. He has extensive experience advising companies on asset and share sale and purchase agreements, joint venture and shareholder agreements, gas and LNG sale and purchase agreements, joint operating agreements, farmout agreements, production sharing contracts, unitization agreements, abandonment and decommissioning agreements, and financing agreements.
